The top photo is the one the customer initially sent to us, requesting a quote for a cupola for their garage. The second photo is our digital quote, demonstrating how the 36” cupola they were interested in would look on their roof. And in the last photo, you can see how the installed cupola perfectly matches our digital quote, even down to the bell shaped roof. The customers were thrilled with their custom Roxbury style cupola and didn’t have to worry about choosing the wrong size.

The rule of thumb for cupola sizing is 1.25” for every foot of unbroken roofline. For this beautiful 25’ garage, the customers had a choice between a 30” cupola and a 32” cupola. We provided them with a picture of a 30” CNC window style cupola (our most popular model), and the customers knew it was just right. As you can see, the cupola - crowned with a Small Jib Sailboat weathervane - is the perfect complement to this garage.

This customer wanted to see how a 36” cedar Carlisle style cupola would look on their extended garage. They loved the size and how the board and batten base of the cupola matched the garage’s siding. We patinated to match the trim and lighting accents on the garage, then stained the cupola to match the new finish on the garage. The result is a stunning cupola that looks like an original part of the garage design.
