This gorgeous 48” Concave with Double Windows style cupola is the perfect adornment for this garage. The vinyl cupola was painted to match the building, and we added a custom “x” molding on the cupola base to match the double doors below. Custom accents are a great way to make your cupola look like a natural extension of your building.
Longer buildings, like these two 200’ barns, require multiple cupolas for a balanced look. While the barns are the same length, you can see that one barn is taller than the other. The height of a building can also affect your cupola choices because it changes perspective. While the shorter barn looks great with two 48” cupolas, we added a 60” Hexagon Window cupola to the center of the tall barn to bring balance to the overall design. The 48 inch cupolas on both barns are vinyl CNC Window cupolas, our most popular design.
Here’s a closer look at our popular 48” CNC Window cupola on a 38’ wide building. This model sports a patina roof which provides a beautiful contrast of color to the black roof. As copper ages it naturally develops a patina, and how long this takes and the ultimate color depends on a variety of factors, including weather, distance from the ocean, chemical environment, and humidity. Or you can choose to have the copper patinated by hand, which provides a more even, uniform color.
Matching cupolas are a great way to tie together your home and garage, especially if they have complementary architecture. For this stunning home the owners chose our beautiful Ellsworth cupola from the Estate Select Series. The 48 inch cupola version of the Ellsworth has 16 window panels on each side and a compact straight roof.
Here we see another 48” Ellsworth style cupola on a 40’ garage. This cupola is topped with a black aluminum roof to complement the lanterns and hardware on the garage doors. The owners also chose one of our gorgeous copper rooster weathervanes, a fun and classic design for any home or garage.
This absolutely gorgeous 100’ cedar barn is adorned with three stunning cedar cupolas. In the center we have a 60” cedar A-Series cupola, with two 48” Hartford style cupolas on either side. The arched double louvers of the 48 inch cupolas add much needed ventilation to the barn, helping reduce moisture and humidity to protect the equipment and livestock inside.
