String LightsOne of the simplest and inexpensive ways to light your cupola is by adding string lights. String lights can be purchased almost anywhere and can be wrapped around the base or draped on top. Whether you go with a classic white or add fun colors, there's a lot of ways to jazz up your cupola using string lights. Around the holiday time, this is a fun way to add to your Christmas light display! |
Window cupolas are amongst the most popular and aesthetically pleasing types of cupolas around. Have you ever passed a stunning cupola at night? Window cupolas shine beautifully when light is added. You might have wondered how this is done! Keep reading to learn the various ways you can add light to a window cupola. From string lights to solar powered lights, homeowners have a lot of options to make their cupola glow. Another way to light up your cupola is by using a high-wattage light bulb from within. If you're looking for a warm glow, skip the LED light bulbs which produce more of a bright white glow. Make sure you select a bulb that is bright enough to light up the entire window area. Solar powered lights are another option to add light to your cupola. Solar panels must be placed in a location that has lots of sun exposure. Mounting the solar panel light fixture inside the cupola is perfect, as the lights will automatically turn on and off each night. You'll never have to remember to turn them on! Want to call attention to your brand new window cupola? Add a spotlight that draws attention to it! Place a spotlight at the base of the cupola and aim it upward. Our cupolas are made by the Amish so we do n to have solar powered lighting. We can offer a light kit or a lantern for lighting. I'm sure that solar power can be added. Thank you, Beverly
